Part of a series of shots I did in a mocked up "studio" environment.

I wasn't really sure which category this belonged under, still life? Went with horror because of all the fake blood.

One cross necklace, one tube of fake blood, one white sheet, one large piece of white card.

I was experimenting with lenses, filters and flash. I'm not sure what settings the flash was on for this but I have them written *somewhere*. It was a shoot for fun mostly, I wasn't happy with many of the shots, but I thought I'd share the few that I liked.

This photograph I made by using the "reverse lens technique" (you can find a tutorial on this here) which involves placing a lens of the same size, backwards, in front of the one you're using. It produces a similar effect to a macro lens, but is a little tricky.

This was my favourite photograph of the whole shoot. I like the colours, the way the blood is mingled with the chain, the depth of field. I also like the way the chain is moving through the image. Thoughts?
