Throughout the space of a year I used up a true black and white film of 36 frames. I thought I'd upload a few and see what you think. I used my Pentax K1000.
I really really like this photograph. I know the composition isn't perfect, but the depth of field makes it look like it's floating and I really like that.
Concrit still welcome though
Also apologies for the poor scan quality - it was the best I could get.
So pretty! I really like the old feeling to it. I don't know if the grain was intentional or from the scan, but it looks really good
Since you have the advanced critique on... Well, the only thing I can think of is a bigger frame (maybe 25px on each side?), to make the photo itself stand out more
I think it's a bit of both to be honest. One of the thing I do love about film photography is the different mood it evokes though, and the way the grain can play a part in that. Thank you
I'll test out a different frame tonight - thanks for the suggestion, I can never work out the best way to present a photograph in a frame.

There are a lot of themes that run through the stock gallery many people have similar ideas but they pull them off in different ways. In this series of newsletters we will look at similar ideas but different outcomes.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
